HK Day 5

// 只能说我输了
也许是你怕了

只能说我认了
你的不安赢得你信任 //

was headed for Ngong Ping on Day 5! woke-up fairly early, was so thankful that Cathy made us breakfast :') partly cause we didnt need to spend on breakfast lah, but the gesture was just so warm.

luckily the Cable Car station wasnt too far off, but that was the whole reason we changed accommodation to begin with. queued for nearly 45min before we got on board the Cable Car to Ngong Ping. it was really rather thrilling, like I was legit damn scared for 5min or so and then I started being quite amazed by the sights I was seeing.

arrived in Ngong Ping and went on the path to look for the Big Buddha

super shag climb up, I think I counted 266 steps? not sure if there's any meaning behind that though. so all ^ above was the journey up. and below would be our view from the top!

our selfie skills ^ really last warning LOL.

took a bus to Tai-O for free because we got the air-land-sea bundle for a cheaper price online!

basically Tai-O is a small fishing village located like reaaaaally far away most parts of HK and is surrounded by mountains, nevertheless still beautiful!

so the 'sea' section of our bundle was basically a boat ride out to the nearby waters where we got to see dolphins! the best part was that we didnt even know about this? so it came as a pleasant surprise heh :)

couldnt really catch photos of dolphins (cause we not fast enough) and it was difficult enough spotting them already, much less taking photos.

came back to Ngong Ping only to be greeted with a bull LOL.

took one of the last batches of cable cars back to HK because #yolo #livingontheedge

mad rush the moment we got back to HK because there was so much to buy before 10pm, all the snacks from the different places we marked out #overlyambitious really but we managed to clear quite a few items from the list!

had dinner at Yat Lok (a one-star Michelin Restaurant), didnt find it especially fantastic and it was expensiveeee ); but not a bad meal to conclude the trip!

headed back to Cathy's to grab our luggage and whew it was crazy dragging nearly 30kg of stuff by myself to walk, and take the train! was sweating buckets really badly because there wasnt any night breeze. camped at the airport the whole night because #cheapo #saveaccommodationfees #hobo but nearly died when I got back to SG, concussed for practically the whole day LOL.

I think it was a super nice first solo travel. looking forward to more! :)
